Your Kitchen Sponge
It seems as though almost everyone uses a sponge for washing dishes and wiping down countertops and stovetops. Sponges are easy to use, they fit nicely in our hands and they really hold the suds.
Problem is, sponges also hold bacteria, viruses, molds and parasites/eggs. Most of us ignore this fact, because we don’t want to give up our sponges. Well, you don’t have to.
A simple and effective way of keeping you and your family safe is to follow one of Hulda Clark’s recommendations:
Keep three sponges on rotation. Use one sponge for one day, and then set it aside to dry for three days. Why three days? According to Hulda Regehr Clark, PhD, it takes three days of drying to kill all pathogens that have invaded your kitchen sponge.
