Health News -

  • Healthy Food Resource Need natural sources of Vitamin D? Look here. Bruising for no apparent reason? Discover Vitamin K. Great resource.

  • Jon Barron, MD When you need a scientific viewpoint from a doctor with an open mind. Very valuable resource. Free newsletter. (He sells supplements - I have not used them therefore I cannot recommend them.)

  • Cathy Wong, ND Reliable, balanced information on alternative medicine from fairly grounded sources. Free newsletter.
  • Vaccines and Pandemic Flu Dr. Tennant is a research hound and has put together everything you'd ever want to know on the subject. Your conclusions may not be his, but at least you'll have good data.
  • Citizens for Health The voice of the natural health consumer. Also provides ways for you to take action online.

  • Organic Consumers Association I have removed my support for this organization, because they have entered into the labor union and healthcare debate. I feel strongly that this is wrong and am choosing to publicly denounce them in an effort to convince them to stick to their original business of being an excellent source for Environmental news and activism towards Organic standards.

Books -

  • In Sheep's Clothing by George K Simon Jr, PhD. Identify and deal with the manipulator's in your life, and then more importantly, identify where and why the conscience of this country has changed. This book is only for those with a conscience.
  • If you are a sensitive or just want to understand the sensitive in your life, these books are recommended: Emotional Freedom, by Judith Orloff, MD, The Sensitive Person's Survival Guide, by Kyra Mesich, PsyD, and The Caring and Feeding of Indigo Children, by Doreen Virtue.

  • Molecules of Emotion by Candace Pert, PhD. Get the word direct from a scientist with more than a few points to make about the science behind the mind-body connection.

  • The Field by Lynne McTaggert, author of What Doctors Don't Tell You. An investigative journalist, Lynne pulls information from scientists all over the world to give us a better understanding of the force that influences everything about who we are in a "Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe."
